Underpants Bomber Evades Detection

The only reason this attempt failed is because the bomber worn the device for two weeks straight and that led to a malfunction in the device function.

This incident was later bragged about in the AQ magazine Inspire (easily downloadable from the internet). They claimed that this showed that all the millions spent on airport security could still be quite simply defeated by a change in bomb design and bomber tactics.
