This is a great example of how effective security of a venue stopped a potentially much worse attack on the French stadium. A suicide attack inside would have forced an evacuation, where the other waiting suicide bombers were waiting. Instead the stadium security staff put the venue into a silent lockdown, which foiled the plans of the suicide attacks waiting outside. They instead chose to blow themselves up without any significant crowd to target.
